| About FUBU The world
is discovering that the possibilities are endless with FUBU! What
began as a buch of hats made in Daymond John's home in Hollis,
Queens has turned him into the CEO of an incredibly successful
sportswear company. Nineteen ninety-two was the year Daymond came
up with the idea to make and sell his own tie-top hats as a means
of making "easy money." Daymond mortgaged his home for
$100,000, turning half of the house into a factory and the other
half into living space for "TEAM FUBU." The "Team"
consisted of neighborhood friends, Vice President J. Alexander
Martin and co-founders Keith Perrin and Carl Brown. J., Keith,
and Carl are the key members of "Team FUBU" to date.
After expanding into the majority of clothing categories, FUBU
then decided to get into the formal wear industry. Their tuxedo
styles are unique and fashionable including higher end fabrics
and patterns.
