Jack Lipson's quality features in its dress shirts ensures a garment that will meet your expectations. Ideally, more stitches results in neater seams throughout the shirt (22 stitches per inch). Removable collar stays ensures the points sit perfectly while elegantly framing the knot of your tie. It also prolongs the life of the collar when stays are removed before laundering. Single-needle stitching is a more costly and time consuming method of machine sewing that uses one needle to sew all garment seams, providing a consistent durable stitch. To achieve optimum stability, Jack Lipson selected the finest shrink-resistant German interlinings to fuse the collar and cuffs. The two-piece split yoke allows for movement in the shoulder because the yoke is cut and sewn on the bias of the fabric; this reature is found only in the finest dress shirts. All Jack Lipson shirts also have a horizontal bottom buttonhole. By design, it locks the shirt in place to prevent the shirt from opening.
