the LUBIAM label has signified an award winning tradition of cutting-edge
style and design. Founded by Master Tailor Luigi Bianchi, the
company has remained a family run operation for three generations
of Bianchi's. For four generations, LUBIAM has been located in
the Renaissance city of Mantova. The LUBIAM factory, set in the
heart of Mantova, was the first Italian clothing factory equipped
with an assembly line.
The LUBIAM label has remained a constant in the fashion industry
due in part to the innovative designs but also due to the highly
technological machinery. Rooted deeply in the tradition of Italian
fashion, the name LUBIAM has become synonymous with luxury, quality
and elegance.
In 1960, when LUBIAM was awarded with the prestigious "Globo
d'oro" as the best Italian clothing line began a new award
winning tradition began. In 1970, LUBIAM was awarded by the Italian
Industrial Committee with the "Oscar d'oro". For the
next ten years, LUBIAM is consistently awarded with the "Premio
qualita' Italia" for its commitment to offering only the
best in its corner of the market.
Today the styles combine a classic sense of design with a modern
attitude. As we enter the millennium, fashion will continue to
