A recent trend for couples getting married is the destination wedding, meaning the vows are completed outside of the native country. Most couples choose destinations that are tropical resorts or at least in a warmer climates. Fashion for destination weddings is usually dictated by the location.

The warmer tropical climates require a lighter tuxedo, preferably a super 100’s or higher, and cotton shirts are a must. Tuxedo vests are up to the couple getting married but at the very least a silk tie and cummerbund is required for accessories. Having a wedding in Europe can throw a fashion curveball by dictating suits instead of tuxedos.

What will you do? May we suggest tones of tan, beige, and navy for your suit color selections. As for the designers try Galante, Gianni Manzoni, or Calvin Klein for clean cut suits that will leave all of Europe envious. Well maybe not all of Europe but it is your wedding, so enjoy yourself and don’t worry too much about fitting in.
