Can you make an exception and ship to Canada? |
|
Although we normally do not ship outside of the United States, we will often makes exceptions for our Canadian neighbors above as long as (3) issues are understood and accepted by our customers.
1) shipping costs will be more than our standard $8.95 (NOTE: we do not "pad" shipping costs; we would bill whatever we are billed for shipping).
2) tarriffs may be imposed (NOTE: this is something that we do not bill; customs may charge a duty/tarriff upon receiving the package. If tarriffs are imposed by customs, this would be the customer's responsibility).
3) timing issue (NOTE: if there is an abbreviated timing issue involved, we prefer not to process the order. Sometimes, a package may be delayed for an extra couple days or so at customs prior to entering into Canada. We would like at least a "two week cushion" prior to a customer's event date to make sure that the customer receives the package in time.
In summary, as long as these (3) issues are understood and accepted by the customer, we will often make the shipping exception and still process Canadian orders. |
