Do I have to wear shiny patent shoes with my tuxedo? |
Although patent leather shoes are usually recommended with a formal tuxedo; they are not the only option. If a gentleman has a well-polished pair of black leather laceups instead, it is fine to wear those shoes with a tuxedo.
In general, many of our customers opt for the more formal patent shoes unless they have a unique sizing issue or unique foot concern where they must use their own shoes. |
