Question Title My invitation says Black Tie Optional, what does that mean?
Very similar to a Black Tie Preferred event except the host is allowing the attending guest to decide to wear a tuxedo or not.  No peer pressure but the "in crowd" will all be wearing tuxedos.  Actually a nice 2 or 3 button Black suit is perfectly fine to attend the event in.  Good suit options are  the MILANO in Black by Gianni Manzoni or MURRAY in Black by Calvin Klein.
